MASCOT BLOG Come. Sit. Speak.

The past few days have been sad days at Mascot as we said goodbye to one of our own ‘mascots’, Lola. Affectionately called “goose” by her loving owners, Jeff & John.

While Lola wasn’t my dog, she spent the last 5+ years “working” at our office and was certainly part of our “mascot” family. Everyday around 4pm she would come over to my desk, doing her full body wag, toy in mouth and try to climb up on my lap to say “hello”. She was the sweetest dog, always happy to see a friendly face.

Lola had a wonderful life with her family – Jeff & John, her best friend Max & her new baby brother, Blake. When she wasn’t at the office “working”, she was running on the beach or around her yard, always enjoying life. I know that we all keep expecting to see her waltz into our offices, toy in mouth to say hello – but we know that she is making new friends and “keeping the peace”, as she always did, somewhere over the rainbow in doggie heaven.

Goodbye Lola, thanks for being a part of our Mascot “family” & always proving that big dogs love fashion, too. It won’t be the same around here without you.
